Currently training in the Conversational Model of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (ANZAP)
about me
I am a counsellor currently training toward a Diploma of Adult Psychotherapy in the Conversational Model through ANZAP. Prior to this, I spent over a decade as a small business owner — a role that deepened my understanding of people and what it means to genuinely support others through difficulty.
I work with Youthline New Zealand under supervision, providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and suicide-risk assessment to youth and adults in need.
my approach
I believe that feeling truly heard is the beginning of change. My practice is informed by the Conversational Model, which understands healing as something that happens within relationship — through dialogue, emotional attunement, and the gradual building of trust.
I work collaboratively and without judgement, and I am particularly welcoming of LGBTQ+ clients and others who have felt unseen or misunderstood. Whether you are navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, or simply a sense of being stuck, I aim to offer a warm and thoughtful presence as we work together.
my hours, duration & cost
I practice from Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm; by appointment only.
Each appointment is 50 minutes. Most clients attend a weekly session and together we can determine when to finish treatment. I work with clients on an individual basis.
My current appointment fee is $100.00 per session.
